So tomorrow I get to be in the same room with Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell and listen to them talk about one of my all-time favourite shows, Quantum Leap, thanks to the miracle of sci-fi conventions. One of the great things about meeting Chris Hardwick was the totally rad people I got to enjoy the experience with, including my new friend Joe who is the only person I know more Nerdist-obsessed than I am. :D

Here is the gift that I presented to Mr. Chris Hardwick in Toronto.

I built him a TARDIS that opens up and has all 3 of the Nerdist BBC specials on VHS.

It also includes a fourth tape that has a selection of episodes and clips featuring the Nerdist guys.

I burnt the fourth tape’s content onto a DVD so it could be watched easier.

It was a real labor of love working on this and hopefully it will be appreciated in it’s new home at NerdMelt.

I also printed out TARDIS Operator Certificates for Him, Matt, Jonah, and Wil Wheaton.

Had soooo much fun seeing Chris Hardwick last night. He was hilarious and incredibly sweet. Afterwards, he did a signing, so I picked up my copy of The Nerdist Way. He agreed to give me a hug and didn’t even mind when I went in for a double hug like a spazz.

And he loved T.O. so much he promised to come back with Jonah and Matt! Looking forward to that!
